The church is regularly used by the community during the week for activities.

Until COVID 19, Bexley Council hired the hall out most days from about 9.30am to 3pm. We are referred to as “Southlake @ Church Of The Cross“. Various mums and children’s groups are run in the church, as well as courses that provide support for certain groups within the local community, for example helping a return to work.

CURRENTLY DUE TO BUDGET CUTS, NO BEXLEY GROUPS RUN AT THE CHURCH. HOWEVER, BEXLEY COUNCIL HOPE TO RETURN TO NORMAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Rainbows & Brownies.

Rainbows and Brownies use the building, and have done for many years. Rainbows meet on Mondays at 5.30pm, and Brownies meet at 5.30pm on Wednesday.

Scouts

The Scouts meet at the church on Thursdays at 5pm.
